Can't "Book a Resource" with Outlook 2003

I used to be able to reserve conference rooms with Outlook XP.

Now that I've updated to Outlook 2003, I don't get the confirmation I used
to get nor do I actually get the room reserved.

This appears to fail in either Cached or on-line mode.

This is really important to me, any suggestions short of regressing back to
Outlook XP?

Dick,

First make sure others can book it - to eliminate the
mailbox as the problem.

Second, do you add the conference room as a "resource" or
do you add the conference room to the TO: field?? When
you are filling out the meeting/appointment request? Make
sense?? If you compose a new appointment, click on the
Scheduling tab-->goto the bottom-->drop down ADD OTHERS--
choose FROM ADDRESS BOOK-->find the conference room in
the list and add it to the "RESOURCES" on the right hand
side (not TO: and not OPTIONAL:)

Is this how you do it? If not give it a try.

Dale,

Thanks!

I was able to this just fine using Outlook XP vs Outlook 2003.

I do add it as a RESOURCE vs a TO or CC.

Its not me, either Outlook 2003 is just plain broken or there is a trick.
I've been doing this with all the previous versions of outlook without
issue.

Still appreciate any help.

Dick
