cant attach emails to msg!! grrr

When i try to attach a file.. regardless of type or size i
get a little window opening up telling me "could not open
file".. this only just started to happen and has worked
fine in the past. i dont recall any changes i have made...

im using windows NT and outlook 2000.

i do have a screen capture of the error that i can send to
someone if that might help..?
