Can't add video files after uninstalling Nero 7

After I deleted Nero 7, I tried using Windows Movie Maker, and when I add a
video clip I get an error "This program requires the file advrcntr2.dll,
which was not found on this system." the title of the window is "Nero" so I
obviously assumed it had to be Nero's doings... Somebody help please.

Movie maker automatically ends with a "Windows Movie Maker has encountered a
problem and needs to close" box after I hit OK in all the error boxes that
appear.

Eitehr, search the nero install cd for the file and install that or
Re-install nero, then uninstall it but pay attention to the shared files
which it asks about deleteing.

I have the same problem. I uninstalled Nero 7 and installed Nero 8 and get
the error message in Nero Vision when trying to capture video from a VCR. I
usually use KWorld TVR to capture video but cannot now, as it just does not
load. The Task Manager shows both Nero and TVR as running. Can anyone help,
please?
