can't add/edit to contact list

hello everyone!!!!!!!!

I am running windows xp sp2 and microsoft office 2003 (Basic edition ) on my
dell desktop systems.
since couple of days i am seeing that my contact list is not working.

I mean when i click to open any existing contact list it opend up but i cant
see it or i cannot edit it.same thing happening to create a new contact list.
it just opens new contact list but i can't see.


I tried to detect and repair options but it did not worked for me.

any idea how i can add/edit to my contact list?
All your help is appreciated.

Hi Diane,

I just click on contacts and it displays availble contact list in the
panel.now if click any one of conatct to edit it i can see that contct is
opened on taskbar9name of contact0but if i maximize it or tryto open it i
cannot see it.
somehow it is opened but i can not see it.
same way if i try to add new contact anew contact name is displayed at
taskbar but i can not see.

is it clear to you now? hope so.

does the contact come into focus if you press Alt+Tab? Have you rebooted
recently?
 
Hi!!!

Yes i can see the contact if i press clt+tabkey and it is found on taskbar
but even if i open up it it does not displkay any thing.

yes i reboot the machine coule of times.
