can't add contacts to my email to: - pick list

I just got upgraded from 2000 outlookk to 2003
outlook and I can't get my contacts folder as a
choice when I click "to:".

Can anyone tell me how to add folders to the
list of olders available for the to: on ne email, please?

try opening the address book under tools then from within the addressbook
menu tools click on options. you can add more contact lists and set which
one you want to see come up first.

Right-click your Contacts folder, choose Properties, and click the Outlook
Address Book tab. Make sure you check the "Show this folder and an e-mail
address book" box. If it's grayed out, click Tools>E-mail Accounts>Add a
directory or address book>Next. Click Additional Address Books>Next.
Select Outlook Address Book>Next. Answer any additional prompts. Then go
back to the Contacts properties pages and check the "Show this folder" box.
