"Can't add anymore controls" message

Peter

I'm having a problem when I try to add a macro button to
one of my forms it says "Microsoft Access can't add
anymore controls on this form or report...If you have
deleted controls from this form or report in the past, you
may be able to rename the form or report and then add more
controls to it" I have deleted controls in the past, but
the suggestion to rename hasn't worked...any ideas?
cheers!

Pete.

Have you compacted the database? That usually resets the "control count" for
ACCESS....there is a limit of 754 controls that can be created for a form,
and when you delete a control, ACCESS "remembers" until you compact the
database.
