Can't add any Contacts

I am a new user and I am not able to Save any contacts. I am just testing it
out and tried to adda the First and Last Names and the phone number. When I
click on the Save and Close button, I get the message "Could not complete the
operation. One or more parameter values are not valid.". I tried to enter
in information in each of the fields, but that didn't even work.

Does anybody have any idea why this is doing this?

There are countless causes for this error. You've provided none of the
information we would need to figure out which is yours.
Search the Knowledge Base for the one that fits your version and
configuration.
