I just bought WIN XP Home Edition for my new computer. I have a new HD. When I tried installing WIN XP it asks for the WIN XP Home Setup Edition Disk 1. I only have 1 cd. Am I missing one? How do I activate me XP? I can't seem to figure it out

THanks

Hi,

There is only one disk. Activation is done at the end of setup. If the
system is connected to the internet, it should detect the connection and
offer to activate automatically. If not, you can elect to phone it in, or
delay it for up to 30 days until it is connected.

Greetings --

From whom did you buy this CD? It almost sounds like you've
purchased just one of a set of OEM Recovery CDs. If so, you've been
ripped off.

You say you have a new hard drive. Are you trying to install XP to a new
unformatted drive? Do you have a OEM, retail Upgrade or retail Full version
of XP?
