Cant Activate windows ?!?!?

I bought a bopy of WindowsXP Home OEM for my new rig last
week, the original cd came damaged and i couldnt wait for
a month for it to be RMA'd so i copied a version my
friend had and used the Serial Number that my original
version came with..

Well, i installed windows last week, and finally bought
myself a graphics card, for the card to work perfectly i
reinstalled Windows. It all went smoothly as expected,
but i just cant seem to activate it ?!!

i used the same serial number that i used when i
installed before, is that the problem i am having ? it is
OEM version, but i installed it on the same computer,
which the OEM version is for...

this a problem or am i worrying about nothing ?
