Can't access XP Pro computer

I'm having trouble networking 2 XP Pro machines (A&B) via
a router. Zone Alarm is uninstalled, Windows firewall,
etc. is all off. I have all drives shared (simple file
sharing, but tried advanced also). Logins and passwords
are the same on both and I'm the admin for both.

Computer A can see B and access it fine. Computer B can
only see A if I go to "View workgroup computers" (can't
add it via "add network place") But when I try to open
it, I get the following error message:

"\\A is not accessible. You might not have permission to
use this network resource. Contact the administrator of
this server to find out if you have acess permissions.

Logon failure: the user has not been granted the
requested logon type at this computer."

Can anyone suggest possible solutions? I really can't
figure this out. Thanks for any help you can provide!

well sound sbit odd but as a start id look in event viewer
then cut and paste what it says there and do a knwoldge
base search based on the contents of event viewer,

other things to look at is when u oduble lcick the A
computer form B does it ask for credentials? if not then
login to A with same username and password on B and ensure
the account on A is in admin group of B i.e use same name
and p/w for admin accounts on both computers to
be safe side jsut use the defualt administrator account

This particular problem doesn't seem to generate an
event. I don't see any new events in the event viewer.

I double checked the admin and passwords and they're the
same. I even created a new admin account on each w/ the
same name and password. I still get the same problem
when I log into those and try connecting.

Any other suggestions I might try?
