Can't Access Workgroup

I have two Windows XP Pro computers that I'm trying to connect with file and
print sharing. I can ping the IP addresses of either PC and get a
connection. I can even ping by computer name and I get a connection. But
from one of the PC's I can't access the workgroup. I get an error that says:

Workgroup is not accessible. You might not have permissions to use this
network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if
you have access permissions.

The list of servers for this workgroup is not currently available.
++++++

Any ideas?

The Permissions are not set right. One way to fix it is to create the
identical id.pass on both machines.
