Can't access updates.

I can't activate the antispyware auto-updater because of
an error message that I am not connected to the Internet,
which is not so. Any suggestions?

Just tell that damned computer that you *are* connected to the internet
whether it likes it or not...... :)
 
like Bob G , when I try to update MSAS it tells me I am
not connected to internet , I have un-installed and re-
installed , stiilo does not work .I am posting this fromn
the computer that is not connected to internet,

The point was that you are "connected to the internet". Open your browser.
