Can't Access System in Workgroup

R

I have 2 XP Pro systems which are networked by a Linksys Router.

On system "A", both systems are in the workgroup, and both can be accessed.

On system "B", both systems are in the workgroup, "B" Can be accessed, BUT
"A" Can Not be accessed.

This system was just installed and replaced a system that worked fine on the
network.

I have checked the configuration, names the same, etc. until I'm blue .

They both ping ok.

Norton is deleted, only the windows xp firewall is on.

I tried taking the windows firewall off, it did not help.

I'm set as administrator on both systems. Guest is off.

System "A" at boot up, does request a password to be inserted, I keep
canceling it, but I don't know how to get rid of that request either,
without changing my desktop .

"The error message is as follows:
\\computer name is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this
network resource. Access is denied."

on the both computers, create the same username and password (the password should not be blank). Try to logon the both using the same username and password, can you access it now? or this page may help,

troubleshooting is not accessible error "....is not accessible. You may not have permission to use this network resource". "Access is denied" · "Network path was not found." ...
