We have two servers (pdc and a TS
When TS-users trying to start the Search Companion they get
A file that is required to run Search Companion cannot be found. You may need to run setup

The strange thing about this is when a user is part of the group Domain Admin they are able to use the search with no problems.

The same problem happens when a user wants to print a picture. They'll get the photo wizard. But when they are at the layout page. There isnt any layout visable, so they cant print a picture this way
But when the user is part of the domain admin group they can see the layouts

I think its a security policy but i cant find where.
I tried to make a test user and i give 'm rights to all the files and the whole the register without being part of the domain admin group. But that doest work

How can i fix it so my TS users can use the search and the photo wizard again?

Hi.

Try to use Regmon and Filemon from www.sysinternals.com to troubleshoot.

Ok, I tried to do that.
I was told to use: REGSVR32.exe SHIMGVW.DL
I use the monitor to see what kind of reg (read and write actions occured
The regsvr32 gave me fault 8007005
What else could i do?
