I've got the same problem which arose yesterday. It seems
to have resulted from importing an access file into
outlook which has produced corruptions in multiple records
in two columns (Business address 1) and one other. The
corruption seems to be that the comma has not been
recognised as a delimiter and has converted to a box or
heavy bold double vertical bar. Since then all attempts to
open individual contacts in Outlook results in "Outlook
has caused an error in MS09.DLL" followed by a shut down
and re-installing Outlook and uncoupling the "outlook.pst"
file dont help

I've seen similar reports, but no one seems to be able to reproduce this
problem. Do you know the steps that created this problem? Surely the Address
Book worked at one time.

I have a user (Win XP, OL2000). If she chooses the Address book and
tries to go to her contact list it shuts down Outlook. If she clicks
on the Contacts folder in her list of folders she can see the contacts
okay. Any idea what may be causing this or a fix for
this problem.
