I simply cannot access my network connections folder. If I click start->connect to->show all connections, I get an error message that says, "This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the Folder Options control panel.

I have no idea when this started happening or what might have caused it. I can't right click on show all connections either, nothing happens. And if I go into windows explorer and right click on Entire Network and click on properties, I get another error message, "The properties for this item are not available.

I've also tried uninstalling the last 6 programs I installed as well and tryed to do a system restore, but like I said I'm not sure when this problem started happening

Any help would be appreciated...thanks

-Steven

Try typing "regsvr32 %windir%\system32\netshell.dll" at a command prompt

I did that and I got an error

LoadLibrary("%windir%\system32\netshell.dll") failed - The specified module could not be found
