Can't Access my hotmail account

I have formatted my hard disk and reloaded office 2007. I am giving my user
ID and password, but outlook is not connecting to hotmail. Why ?

Since I hate to make assumptions, you were able to access hotmail before via
Outlook? Have you verified you're giving it the correct information by
logging in via the web based interface? Is this a paid account or an old
account? Is this on a home machine, or is there a proxy server involved?
Are you setting it up as a http account or as a pop account? Are you
getting any actual errors?

Are you getting any actual errors? No The dailox box where I enter my
password, just does not go through. I keep on clicking OK and it keeps coming
back.

Try going to Control Panel - User Accounts - Manage User Accounts -
Advanced - Manage Passwords and delete the entry for your hotmail account.
 
Thanks FH for your time. My problem got solved. I had written to microsoft
also. I am running internet explorer v 7.0 I was given a link by microsoft to
download because in her words " The HTTP server is using digest
authentication". The link for the other readers of this forum who might find
