I posted this in the network forum too because I'm not really sure where it
belongs or who can help me with it.

I have Windows XP Professional, and n the welcome screen when I try to log
on as Guest, it will look like it's about to go into it, the screen will
turn black, and then it will come back to the welcome screen and say:

"Windows cannot log you on because your profile cannot be loaded. Check
that you are connected to the network or that your network is functionning
correctly. If this problem persists, contact your network administrator."

I have no problems when trying to log onto any other accounts though. Also
once I have already clicked Guest once and the above message comes up, if I
try it again it will start to say "loading your personal settings..." and
then it will just go back to the welcome screen, where I can click on a user
again. I tried clicking it again a few times and restarted the computer, but
nothing worked.

I don't think it's a virus because it started happening the day I got XP and
I hadn't even had time to download anything yet. Does anyone know why this
is happening or what I can do to fix it, or who else I could contact to fix
it? Thanks.

Also, i just found out that this could be because there is a quota limit, so
I checked to see if there was one, but the circle that said do not limit
disk usage was marked. If anyone knows why this problem is still happening,
please let me know!
