I cannot access or edit my Yahoo! account, mail.com, and a
few other search engines. I cannot even access some of the
links on my Outlook 2000 account. Please tell me how to
fix this particular problem. Thank you.

Kelley:

I'm assuming that your multiple postings are all the same,
and that this happened as a result of some glitch or maybe
you clicked "submit" a few times because nothing was
happening?

There are many reasons this might be happening, but you
don't give much in the way of details. Where are you
logging on from? Is it from your pc at work? Because it
simply may be that your IT folks are blocking those
sites. Although why they'd block Google is beyond me, but
you never know. But I worked at a marketing company that
blocked all access to outside accounts (Yahoo!, Earthlink
Web Mail, etc.), so that could be the problem. I got a
message saying that the site has been blocked by the
company, but I don't know that that always happens in such
cases.

The only suggestion I have if you can eliminate that
explanation is that you need to clear your cache:
In IE:
Tools
Internet Options
General Tab
Temporary Internet Files
Delete Files

Or perhaps change the amount of disk space alotted for
temporary Internet files. Use the above path to get there
and instead of Delete Files, click on settings.

Hope that helps!

Dani

P.S. If you haven't already done so, reboot; it often does
miracles. Also, if you're having this problem at home,
call the Tech Support for your ISP.
