Hi,

About 2 days ago, I stopped being able to access google.
I get a "page not able to be displayed" error (or
something like that). However, I can access google
through my DH's computer or through the kids' computer -
it's only mine that can't get there any more. I can get
to pretty much any other website I want to - just not
google. IE has also started taking a very long time to
connect to the internet when I reboot. We are on a DSL
connection, so it should be always on. But when I need to
reboot, it takes several minutes to make the connection,
and I get a message about "detecting proxy settings" or
something. I haven't changed anything on my computer - at
least not consciously. I have tried deleting cookies,
temp internet files and my history files and rebooting,
but nothing seems to work. I can't get to google no
matter what I do. Any ideas? This is driving me crazy
since I generally use google at least once a day for
something. Thanks.

I have the same problem, and have run a full scan with
updated defs (NAV 8.1 Corporate) and Spybot. I've found
no infections or spyware. If someone has a way to fix it,
I'd appreciate it...otherwise I'm going to reformat.

You have one of latest viruses. Use up-to-date virus
scanner to remove it.

**I run Norton Antivirus software, and it is up-to-date.
When I do a system scan, it says there are no infected
files. Is this something that Norton doesn't know about?
