I can no longer access my work email on the web. If I go to a different
computer I have no problem. I think I may have a virus, but I would like
someone to confirm it and maybe you'll know which one it is.

I removed Timewarner Road Runner from my computer and then, from a CD loaded
NetZero on my computer. I was able to retrieve my email with no problems. I
shut the computer down and the next day when I started it up I had this email
problem. When I try and get my email I recieve a message asking if I want to
debug.

Also, if I try downloading from a website, as soon as I hover over a link, I
get a debugging message and can't download the file.

Thanks for any and all help.

1. What is your email program?
2. What is the exact error message?

Thank you for responding Frank.

I am using Microsoft Outlook XP. When trying to download my messages from
my work email I get the following message:
"Receiving reported error (ox800CCC92): 'Your e-mail server rejected your
login. Verify your user name and password in your account properties. Under
Tools, click E-mail accounts. The server responded: - ERR Authorization
failed.'

If I try and view my messages online using Microsoft Outlook Web Access I
get the following message:
"A runtime error has occurred. Do you wish to debug? Line: 1099 Error:
'null' is null or not an object.

Let me know if you need any further information. Thanks for your help.

Sorry, but I don't know Outlook, just Outlook Express. Other than
suggesting that you verify the username and password with your ISP, I hope
someone else jumps in.

Did it ever work right?

The message seems pretty clear and self-explanatory.
Either you have incorrectly entered your userid and password
or perhaps your account has been suspended. Best to contact
your account administrator.

If you use the correct prefix for hex values you can find more
information via Google. In any case it seems clear you aren't
looking in the right newsgroup:

http://groups.google.com/groups?q=8...*.outlook&num=20&hl=en&lr=&c2coff=1&scoring=d

Google Groups search for
800CCC92 OR 0x800CCC92 MVP OR MSFT group:microsoft.*.outlook
