I am running XP pro and have just split my HDD in 2.

C: 5Gb FAT32 primary Partiion
D: 6Gb FAT32 Logical drive.

When I run a command promt and try to browse to the folder my files are in
on D, it does nothing when i run my command promt i do the following:

Microsoft Windows XP [Version 5.1.2600]
(C) Copyright 1985-2001 Microsoft Corp.

C:\Documents and Settings\Rachel>cd d:\

C:\Documents and Settings\Rachel>cd c:\

C:\>cd d:\

C:\>

As you can see I can't access the root or any folder on it. Am I missing
something? I have booted from a boot disk and I can access D from there with
no problems.

Any suggestions or solutions woul be great!

You need to just type

C:\>D:

and that will take you to the D: partition

then you can dir etc etc etc
