CanonScan FB 630P Scanner

Hi

I get an error message when I install what Canon say are the Vista drivers
for the above.

Profile Not Found
Error Code 0x24050010

I am using Vista Home Premium. It IS an old Scanner, but as I say, Canon say
the driver I downloaded is a Vista one

Any thoughts please?

I am not aware of a Vista driver for this scanner

I'm not sure what Canon gave you, but they certainly do not write a driver
for this rather old (and parallel port) scanner.

I suggest you treat yourself to a newer USB 2.0 device.

....you are BOTH correct, the file is NOT a Vista driver, despite it coming
from a page labelled Vista drivers from Canon, it is simply a 'newer'
version of the driver I had on disc. A simple check of the date of the
driver (May 01 !) would have and should have told me this!!!! Ah well, a
new scanner it is!
