What happens when the waste ink holder becomes full on the i950. Canon says
to contact them... rather know from you people what this means... do I have
to return the printer or what?
Thanks, David

Assuming it is the same on the lesser printers, the absorbent pad needs
replaced, and the waste ink counter reset.

Where would you buy these? I have a S820 and having the same problem.

Obviously from a Canon sevice dealer, be I suppose one could fasion one from
a similarily absobant material. (I am thinking diapers or feminine hygene
products), or extend the drain tube outside the printer, to a collection
tank.
Have you the reset procedure, for the counter?

Yes I have that. Is this something you would need to take the printer
apart to replace? I did take out and cleaned the 2 foam pads and 1
felt pad but still get the error blinking. 7 orange one long green
which the Canon web site states this is the print head.

At the Canon web site and could not find anything about purchasing the
replacement pads

Thanks,
Debbie

The pad, yes, the reset procedure, I think not.
