M Mike Hall Oct 10, 2003 #3 My Canon lide/1240U softwear works well in XP.. it could be that your installation media has a problem.. does it always stop at the same point?.. if it is a cd. try cleaning it.. or alternatively, download the latest stuff from the Canon website..
