Canon s520 problem

my yellow stopped printing. i tried doing deep clean and sometimes it will
print then fade out. is there some way to clean this thing by soaking the
print head in a solution of some type?

Try using a new/different ink tank. I had a similar problem
and it turned out to be the tank that was the problem.
If you don't want to go to the cost of a new tank just swap
the yellow with the magenta or cyan and then see what
happens. (before every body shouts that down swapping the
tanks back to their correct position soon gets the right
colours back, it only has to clear the ink that is in the
print head, well it did not cause any lasting effect on my
s520)
