Canon S500 Printhead

I'd need to replace the printhead of my Canon S500, but I saw that the
average cost is 70$.
Does anyone know whether is possible to buy a similar printhead for less?
And if not, any suggestions for a new ink-jet printer of the same range?

If you go to eBay you'll find one for $54.95. The guy's got 57 of 'em!
Shipping, I believe is 1 cent for USA delivery.

Just type "S500 printhead" in the eBay search box.
