I've used Hobbicolors for a few years now and have been satisfied with
their products and service. Has anyone had experience with both
Hobbicolors and MIS bulk inks.

I'd be most interested in your opinions.

Thanks RR

I am glad you asked. Neither company will disclose who the mfg
formulator is that they are using nor will they disclose when they
change suppliers so it is not possible to manage any kind of consistency
in achieving uniform resutls. This also make it very difficult to track
things like clogging, fading, color setttings and the like.

Generic ink is for those who do not care about fading, clogging or
getting the best and most consistent results. All they care about is
how much they spend. And many times in the long run it is more than
using OEM

I've used hobbicolors for about two years now in my canon i9900 with
excellent, consistent uniform color results! My prints do not fade nor
have I experienced and clogging or ill effects on my printer. I highly
recommend hobbicolors as they are not a 'generic' ink nor are they a
"relabeler" and the ink thy sell is specifically formulated for my printer.
I have no experience MIS inks but have heard nothing but good remarks
about their ink.
I have not bought overpriced oem ink for any of my canon, epson or hp
printers in over a decade.
I have saved enough money over the years to purchase a new home, new car
and take yearly vacations to exotic, far away places. :-)
