Paul

I just got a brand new Canon Pixma iP3300 with an easy to use print
program called Easy-PhotoPrint.
Now I've been experimenting with it, and the printouts all look way to
muddy, black is not black, but brownish.
I've been trying all sorts of paper, from glossy to matte, but on
plain paper it turn's out the muddiest.
The problem, I think, with this program is that it does all the
settings for you. Just give the sort of paper and it does the rest.
When I use ACDSee to print, it looks much better, but now I got
bronzing effects on the black parts.

Does anyone know how to use Easy-PhotoPrint and get good results?
Thanks in advance.

Paul.

Hi Paul
Not sure why you're getting muddy print-outs, but I remember having a
bad/colour/print problem and solved it by changing my brand of glossy
paper and the difference was quite noticeable

Regarding Easy-PhotoPrint (EPP) - I use it quite frequently and
haven't had the probs you describe (again it makes me think it's the
paper) on both a Canon ip4000 & ip4200

In EPP, after you have gone through the process of chosing your pics
and paper size/type, there is a correct/enhance button which has
manual or automatic options for colour or/and enhancement, though
these options seem to be more for image than colour correction
