I unplugged the power cord before i turned off my printer, duh! now
it will not power on. please help a poor soul who is very bad at
reading directions ( i.e the owners manual) before using the
product.
I have the ip 4000. You can always read the instructions now you know
. I
didn't have the same problem as you are having but I had a couple of other
small problems with getting the printer to print. Usually when I took out the
USB cable and plugged it back in, it would be ok again. By the way, why would
you unplug your printer? I just leave mine plugged in all the time.
First, check that all printer and USB cables are firmly connected.Have you
successfully been able to print some things yet? If you've installed the print
head and the ink tanks and the drivers, log off your computer. Take out the
USB cable from the back of the computer and from back of the printer. Take out
printer cable from wall and from back of printer. Then with computer still
off, connect printer cable to back of printer and other end to wall outlet.
Connect USB cable to back of printer and back of computer. Turn your computer
on and hopefully printer will power on OK.
