Does the camera invoke Zoombrowser OK? Can you download photos with it,
or with the camera wizard?

Q

zoombrower is ok. error window says.....Error -1607: Unable to Install InstallShield Scripting Runtime. installshield website says I should access system regestry and make sure installshield has full administrative privledges. I ve never been to the registry before and I guess XP would rather I didn t fool around in there because it seems to be difficult to get to. obviously I m a rookie. rich

Have you contacted Canon tech support?

Are you an adminstrator account? If not, then make yourself an
administrator so you have installation privileges.

Go to control panel | User Accounts applet. In the applet windeo select
your user name under Pick an Account to Change. On the What do you want
to change screen, select change my account type. Try to change your
account to administrator if you can. If not, the log on as
administrator and do the above again.
