tcomputerchip messed around with his MP500 and says he got cd printing
working. I have tried to make a guide but it might not be fully correct yet.
Entering Service mode seems to be correct, step 2b, c, d, may need editing.

Consider MP500/MP800 guide a work in progress.

Whilst on this subject, is there any sort of coating
a person can put on an ordinary CD to enable direct
printing?

Best guess: a can of non-glossy white spray paint? A CD label would
also do the trick but some people may have issues with CD label
causing an unbalanced CD or DVD. I doubt non printable CD can easily
be converted to printable CD.

Guide has been updated and fixed. I've made it as simple as possible.

The MP800 has not been tested yet, only the MP500.
