I try to connect a scanner Lide35, but it is not seen by the system.
This one is supplied by the USB port.

I tried on different machin, only on the USB port of the motherboard
on a Armada E500 it is seen.
So I know it work, but I tried on different other machin, XP and W2K3.
I think it is a problem of power supply on the USB, but the port should
give 500mA, so 2,5W.

Any idea, experience like that and solution ?

It must be connected directly to the computer and NOT through a hub.And must
be the only device on that one port.

For USB all ports share the 500 ma, so if other devices are using current,
you need to unplug them.

The software for the scanner also must be installed.

Thank's. It is the only device on the board and directly on the motherboard.
