If its anything like the IP5000 it's plain awesome, the text being a
good as the laser printer I have, once the laser has done the warm u
routine the inkjet is just as fast, it's also very economical to run

The ip5000 has a quiet mode setting so that you can use the printe
whilst 'burning the mid night oil', a mode that I have never tried i
over 5 months that I have had the printer, infact I find it useless a
it's a very quiet printer without it being enabled, the ip5200 may no
have this feature

One good plus is that I have not yet had a clog compared to th
Epson's I had and have not yet done a print head nozzle clea
manually, mind you I have stuck with OEM ink

They are easy to refill and uses clear plastic tanks and from m
learnings through these pages if you are using non-Canon inks sta
away from the universal stuff you see and stick to a formulated in
for Canon's

I have not yet tried non Canon inks or refilling but that is what
would do thanks to advice read through these pages

EVEN THEN THE INK RELABELERS WILL NOT TELL YOU WHAT THEY ARE SELLING
INSIDE THE CARTS.

DOING THAT IS MERITED ONLY WHEN YOU HAVE A VERY HIGH PRINTLOAD AND YOU
NEED TO TAKE A RISK

It is kind of like the 5000 (I have a 5000 too).

The 5200 has nearly twice the nozzles the 5000 has (in fact, the 4200 is
more like the 5000). Also, the x200 printers use the chipped CLI-8/PGI-5
CL-100 carts, so refilling is kind of up in the air.

That part is good but the real bummer is that the ink costs 50% more
than the ink for the previous IP Pixma series. And there is nothing in
the ink to warrant that.

That's a real bummer for you, "Gameboy!" My ink supplier charges the
same price for 5000 or 5200 inks because as you stated there's nothing
in the ink to warrant a price increase. Nice to know there's no OEM hand
in my pocket when I order ink. Clog? Not in my printer. Stop whining and
deal with it.

I bet the big boys thank G_d everyday that there are enough moron idiots
like him to keep the the major printer manufacturers in luxury homes,
cars and great vacations.
But I often wonder where losers like him get the money to waste on oem crap.

I've been using the same inks, same printhead longer than you've had your
4000, Francis. If there was a problem with my inks I'd know about it. I
just love to hear you're paying more and more and more every year for your
ink. Maybe the government should drop what they're doing and step in and
help you decide (with regulations) which inks to buy. What are you, brain
dead? The rest of us mature adults have no problem. Oh, I forgot, you're
not capable of making rational adult decisions. (groan.........)

YOU ARE NOT GOOD IN MATH. I HAD ONE OF THE FIRST 4000. THE 5000 CAME
OUT AFTER. YOU MUST NOT HAVE A PIXMA.

English isn't your first language? Who said I had to have a 5000 to
talk about 5000/5200 inks? You probably don't have a Pixma. Check to see
if it says "Lexmark" on the front.
DO YOU MEAN OLD FARTS

Go back to your game console, Francis and leave inkjet printing to people
with real printers.
