Canon i860 - Two Sided Printing? & Envelopes?

I am seriously considering getting a Canon i860 printer tomorrow based
on what I have read on this newsgroup, and website reviews. Having
only owned Hewlett-Packard inkjet printers for many years (currently a
P1100) I have two questions about the Canon. Does it print both sides
of the paper in software? The HP is good at that. Also, how well
does it print envelopes? The HP is not so good at that. Often
catches a corner and requires that you try it again.

Yes, you can do softare duplexing (Long side/short side), or you can use
the hardware duplexer.
Also, how well
does it print envelopes? The HP is not so good at that. Often
catches a corner and requires that you try it again.

I printed a couple of envelopes last week - they came out perfectly.
