Used an old BJC7000 so far, and today purchased a new i850. Connected
via parallel to PC (same cable as used for the 7000; LPT1 configured as
ECF/EPP, bi-dir.).
Driver installed from CD as described. When started print head
justification, spool subsystem of my Win2k crashed.
Booted again; system printed justification page, that made the system
crash before. New request for head justification made it crash again.
Got the latest driver off the internet, installed over the CD version;
no change.
My system is a Win2000, german, SP3; PC is Desktop, 1,4 GHz Athlon, 524 MB.
Any ideas, what might cause this problem? I don't find any entries here
concerning similar effects...
Thanks for any hints - Dieter
