Hi, this is from another forum I use, the person is seeking help in
solving the following problem. All I could suggest was, was he
printing in black and white, rather than colour, and he say's he is.
Would be grateful for any feedback, thanks.
I shoot with a Canon 10D - Raw Images - I use Capture 1 as a
developing programme (brilliant) - I then do a lot of work in
photoshop looking for a decent B&W print out BUT - do you think my
Canon s9000 will give me a decent BW print - Ho! Ho! - the blue cast
is unbelivable - this is regardless whether I've converted to gray
scale or left it as RGB and used channel mixer, varied the RGB layers
etc. etc. I can't help feeling it's a Canon problem (tho I know that
B&W printing is quite an art). To make matters worse - I did once get
a decent B&W print out - a mild yellow cast which I found acceptable -
BUT do you think I can repeat it ?? Ho Ho - Can anyone with a S9000
give me some clue - please !
