Canon head clogging

After just cleaning the heads on my Epson 915 for the umpteenth time this
evening, I am doing the 'shall I change to Canon shuffle'...

However, a quick read of the forums at dpreview.com reveals that the newer
Canons are also prone to clogging due to their 2pl nozzles...

Anyone confirm?

I have been using an i9100 for several months with no clogging. I am
using Canon inks and I am probably on my fourth set at this point.

If someone lets the printhead print out of ink (even a half page), the
printhead is clogged. I have seen the same problem, unfortunately small
orifices are prone to clog more. If you print a nozzle check you will see
four pairs of colors (the light ones comes from the small orifices, the
"normal" colors from normal orifices). You will see that small orifices'
clogs are stubborn.
