Canon Digital Camera S2

I have just purchased the Canon S2. I'm trying to download the software that
came with it and I keep getting an internal failure box that pops up w/
error# 0x80040707 w/ no description of the error. The next box says access
is denied. How do I correct the installation to make the software load? The
software booklet does say that Windows 2000 users must first log in as an
Administrator to install programs. I have Windows XP home edition and all
users are designated as administrators. Do I need to do something different
to sign in? Any help would be appreciated.

I have the S2 but cannot help much with
the software because I didn't install it.
I simply download my images with an
SD Memory card reader...and edit
them with MS Digital Image Suite 2006.

BTW...there's a .pdf document that can be
downloaded from the Canon site called:
"Software Starter Guide"

If you do not have this file, it may be helpful
