I'm wandering lately...my ip4000 makes wonderfull photos, but how about
selphy 510? Is it better than inkjet? in quality, longevity? Neither? Ok,
it's practical...but...
I bet some of you have it and i'd like to hear some info before i decide to
buy or not...
Thanks

It's a dye sub. Prints are going to be waterproof, and i'd wager more
resilient than any paper that will pass through the ip4000. It should
be a tad spendy, but i'm seeing the ribbon and paper sets on closeout
for $10ish per 36 prints.

Looks like grand fun, and at only $100ish.

it does seem fun... i think only thing that really bothers me is back side
of photos, which are made like postcards...should be blank
sure, cost per photo isn't small, but then again, printing with my ip4000
also isn't if i calculate paper and ink. So far i didn't think so much about
longevity, since i can always print a second copy if first is faded... but i
guess longevity can't hurt :-))
i see that model 600 which has battery pack included comes twice as 510, so
it's a question of worthed to buy one...i'd rather make some kind of car
adapter for 510 model instead
