my apoligies i should have mentioned i live in the uk.

I don't know for a fact, but i'd ask at cartridgeworld. I'm not in the
UK but i've seen the name popup from time to time.

Otherwise, windolene(sp) I believe is the prefered medium for a
cleaning solution.

Thanks. i've seen the windex mentioned before i beleive it has to be
watered down first.

as for windolene i don't know if the mixture is the same. I take it the
ingredient we printer users are interested in is ammonia?

The one I hear most often reccomended is "windex no drip formula" which
is ammonia and alchohol if i'm not mistaken. I think the Windolene
equilivent would be "crystal clear formula" but I don't know... the
only cleaning solution i've met personal was Detol no taint.

I'd be afraid of UK tap or any other reason with heavy water. While
i've not met it personaly trying to match the taste of british ales
requires adding talc... lots and lots of talc. It might not be an
issue but then again why take a chance with a cleaning product that
costs a pound or so wil do the trick and leave you with something to
clean a window.

aww shag it! i went and bought the r300. Its a bit slow to turn on. Not
sure if the power switch is faulty. It wobbles an awful lot.

Hi Ian
Sorry I'm too late, but you could have saved yourself a whole lot o
expense by using JetTec Cartridge Flush; soaking the printhea
nozzles for a couple of hours in a saucer with a shallow depth o
this solution will usually cure the problem
Obtainable from www.mouse2house.co.uk
Might be useful for future reference
