Anyone have this problem????
My printer started beeping 8 times and then the
power and error lights (amber) flash. The only information I
could dig up suggests the printer is overheating,
to turn it off, wait a few minutes and restart.
If the problem persists then contact Canon Customer Care.
Tried this, but it did not fix the problem.
I don't think the printer is overheating cause nothing's
changed and I've never had this problem before.
I've been able to get it to print a few times.
Then along with this problem, sometimes it beeps
2 times and the error light flashes amber. Supposedly
this indicates the ink tank is low, but I've replaced them
both with new and this error continues. Tried resetting, but no luck.
I've had this problem before and for what ever reason
sometimes it just fixes itself.
But the first problem (the 8 beeps) is something I have to
get fix or throw the printer in the trash
Since I've had the printer for about 2 years, I'm sure
the warranty is expired and I'm assuming they'll be
a charge for support services.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
