Canon BJC 620 prints garbage..

I have two computers both nearly new with XP. I have a
Canon BJC 620 InkJet printer that works great with one
and prints garbage with the other.
I have deleted the printer (BJC 620)and shut everything
down and reloaded the printer and it still does the same
thing. On occasion, It will print a correct test page,
but then goes right back into printing garbage. It prints
several characters on the top of a page then kicks it out
and prints more garbage until the printer is empty.
Help!
