Canon BJC 610

I have installed this printer (using the XP install) and
can not keep it working. When I first install it I can get
a test page and print from misc applications. Once I shut
the computer down and restart it the printer will not work.
I have gone to Canon and looked for an updated driver for
XP but have not found one. I do not see anything on the
Windows website. Can you help me?
