Canon BJC-210 printer installation problem

Hello out there

My problem is : After installing the printer on my computer. I seems to be I
have missed something, but can't figure it out what it is.

When printing out from i.e. Word, I get only "crap" out like "%|>??". This
is not what I
expect.

My OS is Win98SE. Printer driver ver.3.97 downloaded recently.

Do I need some extra special font types ? or is it something else I need ?

Any help is appreciated.

No one is going to email you - you've just given the spammers a belated
Christmas present!
 
From what you're saying, it sounds like you are printing Postscript to a PCL
printer.

Check there isn't a PCL driver you should be installing instead?
