Cannoy hear my added music file!

I have added music from media manager and although the icon appears on my
PowerPoint presentation, I am unable to play the sound.

Check the Volume Controller on Your PC and see if it is muted.

Usually with sound files it is a good idea to start with the path length.
There is a limit to the length of the path that can be used in inserting the
sound. Try copying the presentation and sound file into a folder closer to
the root directory (for example -- C:\MyTest). You may need to re-insert
the sound file to re-create the link. Make sure the sound file's name is
shortish, not the full lyrics of the song.

Also, note that most sounds in PowerPoint are linked to, and not "inserted"
regardless of what the terminology suggests. If you move the original or
rename anything in the path to it, PowerPoint will not be able to find the
sound.
