Cannot wipe out bad profile

When I log into my vista Ultimate computer it says it is loading a temp
profile which will not be saved.

What do I need to do to fix this?

I believe it was caused by a bad attempt at copying another profile as the
default profile.

Unfortunately this account name wit the bad profile is a domain user and
cannot be renamed.

Thank gosh for system restore. I just went back to the point where vista
said I had finished MS Office install and before I made the user profile
copy. Phew.
