Hi,
I have been making movies with movie maker for over a year and only now
realized I cannot watch the movies on my PC. Only on a DVD player. Which
was fine until I discovered that my friend, who owns an emac, can watch my
movie on her computer! She even watches regular DVD movies on her emac. She
told me she sometimes takes Lord of the Rings to work (she works for a middle
school) and watches it during her lunch time in her office. So why is it I
can watch movies on an emac but not on a PC? I'm running windows xp, I'm
creating movies, therefore shouldn't I be able to watch the DVD's I create on
the machine that created it?
Explain this PLEASE!
Thank you,
Sue

Do you have a DVD player and DVD decoder installed?

1. Open XP's "Help and Support Center"
2. Type DVD in the search box, hit enter.
3. Click on "DVD Troubleshooter".
4. You probably need a new DVD decoder or reinstall the one you had.
