I keep getting an error message for a website I always
visited. My daughter came over and changed my computer
around for easier access, but there is one website I
cannot view. "The page cannot be displayed...currently
unavailable or experiencing problems...or you may need to
adjust browser settings." I emailed the webmaster and he
said no problems on his end, and I can access the site
from my daughter's computer. I have Windows XP, the site
I am trying to get to is www.buffy.nu I have run defrag
and cleaned cookies, now what??? My daughter cannot
figure it out, so please help, thanks.

Don't just delete cookies, open IE, go to Tools, select Internet Options, on
the General tab in addition to delete cookies, click Delete Files, accept
the option to delete all offline content and click Clear History and try the
site again.

If that fails to resolve it, open Windows Explorer, click the plus sign next
to Windows, click the plus sign next to System32, select the catroot2 folder
(Note, this is NOT THE CATROOT folder, if you see no catroot2 folder, then
this is not the issue) and rename it catroot2 old. Reboot the system,
again, open Internet Explorer and perform the above deletions, then try the
site again.

If none of this works, try using System Restore to take you back to a time
prior to when your daughter made changes to your system. Start\All
Programs\Accessories\System Tools\System Restore.
