Guys,

A lot of network I have worked in, I can do \\servername and it would
list all the shares for that server.

In the new network, if I do that it won't display any unless I specify
it as \\fs1\admin$.

How do I make it to view all shares. Do I make the changes in computer
management, where the admin$ is specify?

Btw, this is a windows 2003 server with XP as clients.

Thanks in advance.

Share ending with the $ are hidden. Since every share from the "net share"
output are administrative or deliberately shared with the $ at the end, the
shares will not show up with a \\ or from the browser.

Kurt,

Thanks man. I remember reading something about it a few years back on
the server 2000 books.
